Strategic vision

The association provides medical and humanitarian care to people and individuals in Jordan. It provides medical, humanitarian, and psychological support to any region in the Middle East and North Africa.

Al-Rafid Charitable Association provides medical attention to the vulnerable populations affected by war, natural disasters, diseases, famine, poverty, and exclusions, who do not have access to health care, and whom the world is gradually forgetting.

Our teams conduct independent assessments to determine medical needs and evaluate the assistance that needs to be provided. Our mechanism of action is based on various criteria, such as the scale of a particular crisis, the levels of disease and mortality in the population, the extent of exclusion from health care, and the added value we can provide to the affected people. Our teams are continually evaluating our modus operandi, and its appropriateness in the current crisis, considering what other organizations are doing. Everywhere we work, circumstances are unique and different. However, our programs typically follow a standard set of practices to ensure that our resources and expertise are used effectively.

You are doing everything you can for the humanitarian response in Jordan.

In general, our programs are based on these principles:

• Alignment with national and humanitarian response plans.

• Provision of a primary health care package including general health, hearing, and speech problems, mental health services, and psychosocial support.

• A balanced approach that integrates life-saving activities and resilience-building support in environments characterized by protracted and protracted crises

• Multiple partnerships in highly polarized settings.

• Building the capacities of local partners and supporting health care systems.

• Contribute to strengthening the health information system in countries.
